Would like to make a 2 x 3 metre enclosure, using C&C squares for the walls, any bright ideas for a structure that I could use as an alternative to the Correx for the base? So a large plastic tray of some description? Any ideas gratefully received Thanks X X x x

Lino (non slip preferably) or some kind of thick plastic sheet if they don't chew it.

I have a friend that uses a large under-bed storage box (Ikea) that is a little smaller than 2x3 grids and (if I remember correctly) she uses an upper story to make up for box being slightly smaller than the length. I have the same boxes and I have just tried it. It is the same width as two fourteen inch grids and not as long as three grids. The grids go outside the box BTW.

Also, I have a temporary run area outside my three storey cage and I use a length of a damp-proof membrane. I only did it yesterday so I don't have much data on it yet. I hold it in place with clothes pegs.
