I’ve just done the weekly weigh in and all my piggies have lost weight this week. They’ve been on the grass for around 4-6 hours a day since last Friday. Could it be because they have been eating more grass than hay? I’m not too concerned as it’s all 4 of them but I am curious as to why

As you say, it’s all four of them so it could be something like the heat etc
How much have they each lost?

Hay on lawn - if they’re only going to be half an hour then its probably ok but more than an hour and definitely give hay.

Thank you. I shall carry on giving them hay when they’re out. They’ve all lost around 40g-50g

It could also be that they get more exercise outside chasing the next piece of best grass. Mine are far more active in the outside runs, they get so excited.

Hi

Instead of the lawn I would rather consider the hotter room they are housed in. It's been quite warm in the last 10 days.
