After ongoing episodes of fungal infections (last week) I decided to remove the wooden hutches from the shed and have the piggies roaming free within big c&c runs 1 for Albie 1 for Alfie and a huge one for the girls.
This weekend weather permitting, hopefully I'm going to be able to board the shed out.
I want to put another layer of wood on the inside of the shed with some insulation between the outer-layer and inner-layer.
Then I'm going to screw some perspex all the round round the inside of the shed approx 30" high.
I think this will really help iliminate any spores in the shed, I've heared that wood is terrible for habouring germs and spores so by covering as much as possible with perspex I hoping it'll stop it.
I also have some really strong disinfectant so I'm gonna put the piggies outside in the wooden runs on the lawn all day and totally disinfect the shed top to bottom.
By wintertime I will have insulated the shed all over so It'll be totally toasty for them.
