Hi!

Yes, certainly the first few times. But they will get eventually used to it the same way they get used to domestic noises like television, loud music, ring tomes and doorbells. ;)

Here are our tips for settling in new guinea pigs, including a spot of piggy whispering: Settling In And Making Friends With Guinea Pigs - A Guide

They’ll get used to it. Mine used to run and hide when my phone alarm went off (to remind me to get on with going to work!) but they take zero notice now - they don’t even react to the smoke alarm going off in the same room now! But obviously we try to avoid it

They'll get used to it. One of my pigs, I lived at the time in a flat that shared a wall with a household with two rottweilers. So when he decided to set the family dog off at very early o'clock on a Christmas morning because I was neglecting feeding him exactly on time...he just made more noise to try and drown out the dog. He'd never met a dog before but the barking didn't faze him at all...if only the same could be said of the rest of the household :)) Blitzen was always iffy about noises - he heard gannets on the tv once and he angry-purred at them the entire time. I also had to deal with a neighbour at my last place who repeatedly set off her burglar alarm to "check it was working", not to mention the constant crashing and banging of god alone knows what on the ceiling. The pigs got to the point they didn't care - it was standard noise.

You'll find a few things set them off at first. Alarms, jangling keys - I've also never met a pig who didn't understand rustling plastic bags meant food very quickly, ditto to the fridge door.
