I was planning on getting a Ferplast 140 cage on friday as it's pay day. I've been so excited as it mean I will finally be able to get my guinea pigs. I was going to get the cage from pets at home online but they've sold out. My 2nd option was justguineapigcages.co.uk and they've sold out aswell. I could 8... I can't seem to find the cage on any other site. If anyone knows a site that sells it please let me know.

Do zooplus do the cages? They are often very reasonably priced. :)

Zooplus don't sell the cage
Justcages have sold out
Seapets it's £80 more which is too expensive

I'd do a C&C cage but I have no room for it as I have two radiators at each ends of my room and Guinea Pigs can't be next to radiators. right?

If you have no room, where are you intending to put the new cage? (not ment to sound nagging, just wondering. :) )

Half of my piggies cage is next to a radiator and they seem fine.

I have the room:) The indoor cage will go in between my wadrobe and bed. I have room for a c&c but it would have to be at the end of my room (my bedroom is the legnth of the house so it's quite long) but the c&c will be next to a radiator as I can't move my bed or wadrobe if you understand.

I dont quite understand why you could not put a C&C in the space you intend to put the shop bought cage? *did you know you can overlapp grids to make it the right size for your space?*

I suppose I could make a C&C in the space where the guinea pigs are going to go I just wouldn't know where to begin and what the required size would be.

On ebay you can get a liberta 150 cage for £99 including delivery its bigger and looks better IMHO than the ferplast

Well, to make a C&C you would need grids (each grid is 1 ft square), which come with connectors, however if you wanted to overlapp them you would need to buy cable ties. These are found in most DIY stores.

You would also need something called corex. This is a kind of plastic, like that used for estate agents for sale signs.

These things are fairly easy to sorce within the UK. There Is also a lady on here who sells cage sets ready to go, she may be able to help you. :)

Have you tried amazon? As I got mine through them :)
If you do then you can get nectar points thro the Nectar site and click on amazon;)
Also you could try cash back sites like quidco which give you money back for shopping at certain places, you just look for your shop on there website, I always look for discounts before buying lol, I've got c and c grids but had to have a ferplast as I wanted them on a sideboard, I found ferplast easier to handle etc, I use the grids to piggy proof the lounge or when I'm not going to be sitting with the pigs on the floor I make 1 huge cage and let them run about for hours in that when I clean them out :)

not sure where in the UK you are but I popped into pets at Home near me the other day and they had loads in store. Have you Actually been to P@H or just looked online? Try going in saves postage costs and waiting for it :)

Yeah I went in a few weeks ago to pets at home and they didn't have many indoor cages in stock things could of change though. It's easier buying online as I'm working and it's hard to get to a pets at home as I don't drive.

Zooplus.co.uk sell a 150cm R6A cage but it comes complete with an attached stand.
They sell 120cm cages cos I've got 2 I use for emergency indoor use in the winter.
