I was soooo scared this morning.
I was getting ready for school and went over the the wardrope and couldn't see delilah in her cage. Usually shes doing laps around the cage and wheeking. I lifted up her house and she wasn't in there.... I looked in the hay and she was laying sideways with her eyes open and it didn't look like she was breathing. I was so scared and worried I didn't touch her, I was too scared to see if she was dead :o . I couldn't stop shaking and my eyes were filling up with tears ::) ::) looked over at the cage and she started running about.
How naughty is she? ;D
I didn't stop shaking for ageeees ::) ;D

I have residents at work that do that (with out the running around and wheeking!)
Ihad one of my past girls (violet) did the lying down looking dead thing scared me everytime!

Remy has been doing that too!

Since I just lost Ella I've been watching her and she does it a lot and when I open the cage she jumps up and looks at me like uhm I was relaxing?!

They are bad!

scary isnt it! lois does this shes 6 and i thik a little deaf as she stays asleep with her eyes shut, even when i open the cage she doesnt move a muscle lol i have to gently blow on her or poke her and she wakes up like what!?

faline the bunny did that to me the other day. scared the hebbie jeebies out of me :o :o :o they are little ratbags :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: you want to tell them off and then look into those eyes and face and you just melt. you have to love them :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: guess it keeps the heart ticking :tickedoff: :o

My bunny does this to me all the time! He lays on his side with his eyes open and i panic because i think he's dead! :)

One of mine does this ! A few times I've seen him lying out the front section of his cage and lying out on his side , I can't see breathing and he looks like hes dead. I have rushed over very anxious, with my heart beating and he has jumped up quick as a flash. I think they are jsut fast asleep and we aren't used to seeing them like this.
