Everything is going good inregards to the housing front but the letting agent wants to get people round ASAP, which I obviously agree with. My piggies need moved and I can't expect anyone to give them the room I give them! MY friend across the road is a prime cantidate, I was thinking of putting them in there original cage so she could mind them for me until they go back to Glasgow on Wednesday and as she is across the road from me and I have keys means I could still feed them and look after them. I'm just worried about them being cramped will they be ok?

They will also be cramped when at my mum's until I get the new cage built but she will let them run around which is a little better for them she may put them in the cupboard under the stairs as it is a huge cupboard and leave the door open so they could constantly run about which would be really good for them!

Do you think they would be ok.. for a week under these conditions will it harm there health?

8...

to be honest if theyre going home wed i cant see the landlord getting anyone wanting to look round between now and then anyway you could stall him and say youre busy today and tomorrow but can make time wed/thur.

I'm sure they won't come to any harm. Its only one or two weeks out of their lives. I know you are a caring piggie mummy and no matter what we all say you are still going to worry but...THEY WILL BE FINE.

He wants to come round tomorrow... Apparently he has a waiting list for my area and wants to get people round ASAP!

I'd say they will cope fine, they have been together long enough that I can't see it causing any problems and when they get to your mums they will be able to have more mooching time so don't fret hun.Move them over to your chums till your mum comes on wednesday.

I think I shall, I can't believe how fast this is all going! It's crazy, so much to do and so little time...

Can somebody tell me to breathe! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I can see that a squeeking box!

I would put them with your friend. yes they will be more cramped than they are used to BUT it's very temporary! It's for the greater good - just do it.

Get plenty of fresh herbs to treat them with!

Your group can stay a bit cramped for a short time until everything is sorted out.

The only ones that should never be cramped in new surroundings is boars - for them itis a recipe for disaster. Other groups are fine!

Best of luck that everything gets sorted well!

They won't fallout will they... Oh god, I am loving how quick this is going but it's also extremely stressful.

Thankfully the girl taking the cage is fine to wait another day so piggies shall stay in there for temporary emergency measures, how terrible do I feel they will be hating me...

Shall get brides and lots of them... they then have a ferry ride Wednesday and some temp housing! I shall get my hay package up and posted today to glasgow, so they will have hay for there arrival along with some cosies which have already been posted home! Brides are necessary!

Stress!

Brides?

Do you mean bribes? I don't know what you mean with brides?

I thought Fred may end up with some more wives! :(|)

Haha he wishes... I have an intact boar and 2 spayed sows for a reason! I can't add :))! xx

Ok, so my friend has agreed to watch the piggie so they shall move tonight for 2 days.... a week without piggles on the plus side I will still see them up till Wednesday :)! xx

I am sure that you could organise another pair of wives if you wanted to you have managed to escape a whole country in under a fortnight! lol :)) Fred would love you more!

Fred told me last night, that Pebbles and Wilma are more than enough for him. He was trying to trade Pebbles in because she's forever gurning at him. He decided that a new wife might eat all his food and said he's very happy to stick to 2! :))

Hope everything goes ok.

I had Monty living in a cat carry box until I got him a cage when I decided he had to come in with the cold weather - I was worried how cramped he would be but he was fine. He had run time every evening but with the snow/ice it took me time to get to the pet store to get a cage for him.

I decided being cramped was better than freezing!

I could not do that with Melvin and Parsnip I know but Monty was ok.

You and the piggies will all be settled soon - hope the stress is not too bad:)

They will be fine... it's only for a short time! Still your piggies will be much better off than most piggies I think. Just think of all those pigs who spend their whole lives in "legal" pet store cages.

Bus yes, bribery is definitely an idea :).

My piggies are gone 8..., ah Don't know how I will manage... they settled well... infact Fred was lying sprawled out so can't be too upset! We all had our cuddles and I will be over to see them tomorrow morning for veggies and tomorrow night veggies too operation clean is all go...

My mum and Aunt are coming tomorrow once I start moving things I'll feel better! I can't believe how hectic it is... I just want it to be over roll on Saturday! It can't come quick enough!

I hope all goes well hun :) I am sure your babies will be fine and thinking about it while they may be a little stressed with the change and move wont being closer together keep them calm and relaxed if you know what i mean :))

Good Luck xx

Just caught up with what has happened - I'm kind of sorry to hear going so soon, would have been lovely to have them as visitors. I would have had them for you for a few days but see you got sorted. Can't believe how quickly this has all occured for you.

Blimey it is all going quickly!

Glad to hear that the piggies have settled in their temporary accomodation. Hope operation clean-up goes well. Get yourself a glass of wine and put your feet up for 10 mins though! :)
