Agression when hungry!

Hi All,

Yep it's S&T again! Cleaned the girls out gave them fresh hay and pellets, then did Eccles and Pudsey and did the same for them. Suddenly Sunshine went mad and started teeth chattering at me. Then Twinkle started. I quickly cleaned the indoor hutch and put new fleece down gave them hay and pellets and then went on to give them all veggies but Peter had to watch them while I prepared the veg as S&T would have flew at one another and Sunshine tried to bite Peter too! :o

Twinkle always gets the blame from Peter but this time it was Sunshine who was being a monkey. Could it have been because I fed the other pigs first? Eccles and Pudsey live ontop of the hutch so I always do them first. Now it looks like I'll have to do S&T first to keep them happy!

They had a few goes at throwing igloos at one another then gave up and have been fine since, I think the agression was mainly aimed at me. Through all their barneys they have never gone for one another and as soon as I put the hay and pellets in the hutch they were back to popcorning!

Give me strength!

LOL Kelly, It's like the Gremlins in our house. Pudsey is the sweet little Gizmo while Sunshine and Twinkle are the green monster type ones. I love them too bits but they are mental! They have huge personalities and they certainly let you know what they want!

I wouldn't mind but they are going through four handfuls of pellets and 6 handfuls of hay a day along with 2 helpings of veg and a bowl of readigrass. There's never a dull moment! :D

That's great that they're all eating so well, lol i bet they eat better than you Louise ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
 
They do Glynis. I don't get time to eat there is always something to do! :D Still it's best to be busy!
 
two of mine really sulk if i feed the others first. they wheek really loudly until they are fed so like you i feed them first now. Iv just had a change around in my guinea pig room and dougal is sulking with me because hes not in the bottom cage anymore and cant just walk out of his cage when I'm cleaning them out. He chattered at me last night when he realised he would have to wait and be lifted out. Moody !
 
Crikey S&T they're gonna eat you out of house and home!
Sounds like they are very spoilt little piggies :smitten:
 
They never stop which is why I call them the Gremlins! I'll go out one day and come back to find them watching Snow White! :D

I fed them all at the same time this morning and that seemed to work. They are all resting now but just going to give them some readigrass. :)
