Advice please

I have only had my baby piggy for 3 days and after much time spent on this great forum i have just been out and bought some fleeces and have changed over from sawdust.I have also cut some holes in some cat food boxes,1 to hide in and 1 to fill with hay but the first thing he has done is start chewing the box.Are cardboard boxes safe to chew on??/

Piggies will chew anything given a chance :x
Mine chew toilet inner rolls, egg boxes, brown paper bags and live to tell the story. Believe the plain brown cardboard is ok but many people use boxes a hideys so assume it's ok.
Have you tried the chubes - large colourful cardboard tubes, really cheap and cheerful from Wilkinson's ?

Oh do not worry. Guinea pigs love to chew on cardboard and it is perfectly safe.
