Hi All
I have 10 guineas x) and love each and every one of them.
A group of 8 lived in my shed and then 2 boars lived in seperate hutches (outside of the shed). The hutches were on top of each other so they couldn't see each other but could hear each other and were quite happy.
I recently got my youngest boar neutered and he is now in a large C & C cage above the other 'shed' group.
This left me with a dilemma, I didn't want to leave Mojo (unneutered boar) in a hutch seperate from the rest but I didn't want him to be frustrated being in with the girls but not able to get with them. So, I made another C & C cage and put Mojo in the shed with all the others.
The problem I now have is that Mojo has started biting me every time I put my hand in his cage - I'm convinced he's not ill but more likely to be frustrated and angry by being in the presence of all the girls. So, do I move him back outside where he will be on his own and not able to see/hear the others or leave him where he is, in the hope that he settles down ?
I don't want him to be sad - he's 5 so the vet is reluctant to neuter him. He's never taken to another boar either pow-pow
What do you think ?
