Hi folks,

Lollipop and Peepo are getting geared up for grass time when the weather warms up.
Have a 5ftx4ftx2ft high run on order.
Really need advice on which run shelter to get as there are so many on the net.
Following advice on here, I think it needs to be raised off the ground a bit to avoid STI's?
Also, easy to clean out?
Big enough for two sows to shelter from bad weather as a day shelter, then back into proper hutch at night and when wet/cold.

Should I line it with anything e.g. lino tiles?

Any help muchly appreciated, thanks. x:help:

then postage is £3.25, thanks we work really hard on them :)

In a big run you need to offer a few hideys.
A basic wooden house is a good idea, and can be hosed out if necessary.
But also don't dismiss simpler ideas like a cardboard box with door cut in, and lined with newspaper and dry hay. It won't last forever, but is cheap and easy to replace.
I would probably avoid using fleece outside in an open run, simply because once it gets damp it won't be super pleasant for your piggies to use.
If they are only outside in reasonable weather then they don't need the extra insulation if they have a few decent hidey places to choose from.

^ fleece is just like us using a picnic blanket on the grass(some have water proof insides I know but the one I use doesn't) piggies shouldn't be out on wet grass anyway tbh x
