Harvey was neutered this week. All went well thank goodness and he is popcorning (ouch! :o) round his pen - he loves the feel of the towels under his paws I think! At the moment he's in an adjoining pen to his 2 brothers, one of them is friendly with him so I can put him in with Harvey for a bit of company occasionally.

Harvey is going to go in with my 4 girls (if I can get them all to get on). I know I need to wait 4 weeks before he goes with them but how soon can I put him in an adjoining pen so they can start getting used to each other? I don't want to get him too excited (and popping his stitches!) but would prefer to get him next to them asap to start the process off.

Thank you.

I would leave it until the wound looks like its healing nicely. Maybe leave it 2 weeks? Then put him in adjoining pen.

Thank you. I just typed a reply saying how well he was getting on etc but our computer continually crashes :tickedoff: It's driving us nuts. Already been fixed once. Will leave Harvey more another couple of weeks or so before putting him next to the girlies.
