Hi all,

Today I noticed when we had our little piggy out that she had what initially looked like something stuck to her eye, when we took a closer look it doesn't seem to move when she blinks, we have cleaned her eye area to see if it would move but it seems that it is within her eye itself. I have managed to get a clear photo and was wondering if anyone has seen this before with their piggy?

We are going to make her an appointment at the vets tomorrow when it's open but thought I would reach out on here tonight in order to stop my worrying.

Thanks in advance, Corissa.

P.S. please excuse my other piggy's rear, they are almost inseparable.

I would personally try and get in to the emergency vet today. The eyes are very delicate and an injury can go from a slight scratch to something more serious very quickly if left untreated. The good news is that eye injuries are treated the same across species of pets so any vet will do in this instance and you do not need to wait on seeing a piggy specialist
