Can anyone advise on this please? I bought some puppy pads today and put them on my wooden floor in the two corners where my boys tend to pee during floor time. They've both had a pee on the puppy pad - good start  but now one of them keeps trying to eat the pad  will this cause harm, as the pad has a very thick almost plastic like backing to keep it water proof.

Most of us have had Guinea Pigs have a nibble at a puppy pad . I'm not saying it is good - but it happens . I use puppy pads - but, I cover mine with a layer of fleece to keep the nibblers away .

I have cuddles in bed of an evening with my two pigs so I line the bed with puppy pads or they would wee everywhere! They don't bother with them on the bed but if I put a puppy pad in the cage, Milan would feast on it

At least I've established it's not just my piggies who like a nibble on puppy pads!

Crunchie is the puppy pad eater in my house! When my vet beds shrunk with use in their old cages, she'd pull them from the sides and eat them. I then got new vet beds, to cover all the pads.. Then had to by more a few weeks later when i upgraded tona c&c! Now i have a mass of vet bed in the cupboard!

But yeah, keep them covered to be safe x
