Hi all
We have recently adopted two boars who have lived indoors with us for 3 months. We would like to buy a outdoor hutch with a little run for them to enjoy some outdoor time to enjoy the summer. Any advice on good quality products ? We have looked online but there are so many to choose from. Hoping some of you could offer recommendations? Would need it to be fox proof as we have foxes in our area

Hello Matt
yes, I do like my run and little shelter inside it for my two boys, my OH bought the bunny ark which is ok for daytime with the run but no good for winter or overnight as foxes could dig underneath it if they were really determined. We have a tunnel connecting the two areas which they absolutely love, which we purchased from an in-line store on Etsy. We also have a weatherproof cover for the bunny ark and a UV sunshade and waterproof cover for the run

Run and little shelter - would recommend
Bunny Ark - I would not have bought it, I would buy a proper hutch size no less than 2’ x 4’ which they can overnight in safely

The chartwell hutches are good as they are raised off the ground so nothing can burrow into. However foxes are very clever and could get in the front of determined enough. I have an insulating cover and weatherproof cover which stops the hutch getting too hot in summer or too cold in winter. I use a separate run just for when I'm home and can keep an eye on them

Thanks for the replies, fair play that’s a cracking set-up you have.. as a starting point would you suggest a hutch within a meshed box in a semi shaded part of the garden. How is the box secured? Pegs?
