Hi, I’ve bought some pro C to give to my poorly boy who’s on painkillers and antibiotic (baytril) I understand from the guide that I need to wait an hour after the antibiotic, and can give at least 5ml at a time. But some have suggested sprinkling this on his critical care and I just wondered how much should I sprinkle on? Is it ok to put it in his water bottle (as the pack suggests) -as my other boy will also get it. It’s mostly sugar too, so how much vit c will he actually get?

You can use just a small pinch of it into syringe feed, or mix it with 1-2ml of water and syringe the water to the poorly piggy.
I would not put it into a water bottle. It’s best to directly give it to the poorly piggy

I usually add a pinch into my syringe feed if I do that (keeping in mind that any recovery formula is already enriched with vitamin C). If you want to give pro C to a piggy that doesn't need feeding support, it is most effective when mixed with a little water and syringed either 1 hour before the antibiotic (US recommenddation) or two hours after (UK recommendation) - either way works. Syringing directly rather than adding it to the bottle works much better with larger animals than with guinea pigs who have five times more taste buds than a cat. It makes sure that your piggy really gets what you want them to.
