hi, would anyone have any advice on building an outdoor run for my 2 boys ? i would like anyones advice on suitable size (will need a divider in to separate them from fighting ), what type of mesh to use and where to purchase. and any major dos or donts ! ... keeping guinea pigs is turning out to be more expensive than first anticipated ! many thanks

I have never built a run myself as I found that the mesh was very expensive. It is available at Wickes, B & Q etc in the gardening section. Use the welded mesh as it is stronger. There was a thread a few weeks back by someone who built a super run:

I bought a second hand run from someone on Gumtree in the end. It was in a dire state. I had to reinforce the wood and preserve it etc but it only cost me £9 (plus petrol to get it) and I thought that the mesh was probably worth it if the frame wasn't.
