Hi

I currently have a playpen which is supposed to be for indoor and outdoor use but while it's great for indoors I think it's a little flimsy for outdoors (this may be me worrying unnecessarily but you want to do the best you can for them).

So, what I want to know is what's the best sturdy outdoor run and shelter for guineas that you've found? There's a couple of months before they will be using it so I can save up. So the only restriction I've got is that it must be available in England.

My three girls will be in there and if the two new arrivals are girls they will be too. (If they're boys, not until they're neutered - I am not having a repeat mistake!). So really it's got to be big enough for five to have a serious run round.

Any ideas?

Hi
This company was recommended by a member http://www.ukrabbithutches.co.uk/guineapigrun.html
It's great that you'll be adopting more piggies. Just to let you know you can have one neutered male with as many girls as you like but two with a group of girls is not a good idea as they will fight over them. You could alternatively have a second set up with a pair of boys. They wouldn't need to be neutered if they're just going to live with each other.

Hey louise, sorry its not about the actual topic, i just wanted to point out that if BOTH babies are boys, they wont BOTH be able to go in with the girls, only one male(even neutered) Per group of females, otherwise they will fight :(

Hopefully they wont both be boys!

I'm very lucky, my dad made my run out of an old bed frame and chicken wire :), but there are definatly some good companies around people can recomend!

Thank you everyone! Some fab runs there :) and some happy looking piggies on your avatars :)

Sorry, I was thinking faster than I typed last night and I should have made the reference to the neutered male clear. I had two gorgeous surprise arrivals on Wednesday morning. It was fairly clear straight off that one was a girl but I wasn't sure about the other one. I am now 90% sure that's a girl too but there's that 10% chance it's a boy...

There will be a trip to the vets to make absolutely sure in about two and a half weeks if they haven't grown enough for me to be sure.
