Hi,

I've checked websites such as http://www.guineapigcages.com/howto.htm to get an idea on how to build my C&C cage and am a bit confused as to where to measure to for the base. Do we measure grid to grid so that it rests on the lower connecters OR connector to connector so that it sits between them. Does that make sense?

I want to make the cage as large as possible so am thinking grid to grid so that it rests on the bottom connectors. However I just want to make sure I am right.

Thanks.:)

Hi!

Measure from connector to connector. If you rest the coroplast on top of the connectors, they will not be as strong as resting them on the floor (or on grids floor if you made a stand from the grids).

Make sure to leave some room for the coroplast to fold up, depending on how thick your coro is.

I agree, connector to connector and add in the thickness of your corro x 2 to this figure to allow for your sides when you fold up your sides into place.
