I noticed yesterday one of my pigs is suddenly missing his top front teeth
He woudlent eat his veggies so I checked his teeth
I gave him critical care yesterday evening as I had to go to work and came home in my break to give more
This morning it seems he can eat his pellets and can eat hay just fine so ill monitor him and give any critical care accordingly
He is also acting fine and is perfectly willing to eat as always

Does anyone have any advice? how long before they grow back? etc

thanks

Hi, the teeth should grow back within 2-3 weeks but in the meantime, you may want to cut his veggies in to matchsticks to make it easier for him to eat and weigh him daily. If he’s losing weight due to not being able to eat, you will need to syringe feed him baring in mind that 80% of the diet should be hay x

I hear you.
Ruby snapped her teeth a few times over the years, and they always grew back quite quickly.
She used to find it easier to manage her veggies when they were cut into long thin strips.
The teeth always grew back pretty quickly.
