Would it be ok to take a plank of wood and wind twine round it to make a ramp for the cage?
Would a bit on UHU glue at the top to hold the start of the twine be ok too? It would be 24 hours before the GPs are in it.

Thanks!

Just make sure your ramp isn't too steep or else it could hurt your cavie's back! :o

i dont think glue is a good idea if they can get at it, because if they chew at the wood, which they most probably will do then it might harm them.

Hope this makes sense, drill 3 holes along the top width of wood and fix onto the side of the cage with cable ties threaded through the holes, make sure you ties onto the outside and snip off excess.Could also attach a piece of carpet on the wood to save little toes & feet!

There's a little glue on the underside of the ramp, here and there to help keep the twine in place and the twine has completely covered the wood. They'd have to hang upside down on the ramp to get anywhere near the little bit of glue. I'm thinking that will be alright?

We made 2 holes at the top and put ties through them and attached it to the grid.
