Hi, I was hoping to get some advice about hutches :) I've seen two hutchs that I think are ok for 2/3 piggies :-\ but do not know which one to get or which one is best :-\

unfortunetly I can;t have a bigger than 4ft hutch as space is limited, which is why I thought of a double hutch, I'm going to make it more piggie safe by makeing the ramp less steep and adding somthing to the side to stop them falling of the ramp :)

vikki :)

They are good quality hutches. 4x2 is for 2 pigs 5x2 for 3 pigs. Thistle is ideal if you are going to move into a shed. I have a lavender lodge which won't fit in my shed but I like that hutch as it is long for them to run about in. It's your call weigh up both. Some pigs won't use a ramp. Personally I would put 2 in the Thistle and 3 will fit in the Lavender. :)

wish I could fit the lavender lodge in :( unfortunetly I can;t, space is just about big enough for a 4ft huch. will have to keep thinking, as I really wanted a little group of 3 :-\

I may have it wrong can anyone else advise about putting 3 in a 2 tier? It's just I think they may not use the ramp so I never count it but some do it's a 4x2 double so would 3 be ok. The Lavender is huge, I love it but can't fit in my shed at all! ;D
