I went to the petstore yesterday and found the cutest little girl. She even fell asleep on me. So I am going back tomorrow to buy her, I really hope she's still there or I will be a very sad mommy.

Anyway, I already have Betty&Wilma, got them a little more than 4 weeks ago.

They are still trying to figure out their relationship, so I am just wondering where this is gonna put the new pig, or pigs. I might get 2. They are around 6 weeks and Wilma&Betty around..12 weeks I think.

The little girl got bitten by her cage mates and I just want to make sure my girls will be nice to her. I will put her in a seperate cage first and introduce them and such.

But what do I do if they are mean to the new pig/pigs?

Thanks!

ultimately you should let your girls pick there new friend to avoid issues but i would say introducing on neutral territory over lots of grass and veg is a good idea, basically they will either like each other or they wont its down to personalitys as well as age
Please consider rescue next time as that way you are getting a piggy that has had all the right medical treatment and also a better chance at a match for your pigs, getting a female from the petshop puts you at risk of her being pregnant, missexed, sick or having genetic problems, there are tons of piggies in rescue and I'm sure in your part of the countryxxxxx

It may be wise to find out for certain if one of your other piggies is pregnant, as you mentioned you were concerned about in another thread, before adding another into the mix. The harmony can change with new arrivals of babies, so best leave until you are sure. xx

Every new arrival upsets the whole hierarchy and it has to be freshly settled. If you are not sure whether you have a pregnant girl, I would wait and see what happens with that first, before throwing more piggies into an already unstable mix. It could go easily horribly wrong!
