Adding a hay loft to a commercial cage?

Has anyone got any ideas how to do this please?

I have a ferplast 140 and feel that when it has a litter tray in there is not enough space for the boys to popcorn around so adding in a shelf with hay on would help!

I did after suzy gpr suggested it. I just got a piece of thin ply wood, the width of the cage by about a foot and then rested it on the lip of the cage. Added our fiddle sticks and job done. They jump up and down, no ramp needed and its fab!

that sounds great! I just got some grids for CnC cages so I might try with them to do the same thing! thanks for that!
