Hey everyone!
I have 2 males, Dash and Felix. They're just over a year old and now moving into a bigger cage. This might be me just being hopeful, but can I introduce a new juvenile male?

Hi and welcome!

The temptation to add more piggies to a happy is always great. Good on you to do your research first and not after you have run into trouble!

Unfortunately for you, boars work best as pairs; trios and quartets are by far the most unstable of combinations - with three teenagers the fall-out is 90% or more. At the worst you can end up with three singles. All your boys are still in that age. Dysfunctional boar trios is one of the most common problems we are contacted about in the Behaviour section.

Please take the time to read these guides here in order to make an informed decision:

Boars: Teenage, Bullying, Fighting, Fall-outs And What Next?

Please follow our tips when moving your boys into bigger accommodation in order to avoid/minimise a new hierarchy sort-out and risk a potential fall-out. While it is great that you are giving your boys all the space you can afford, you have to take their territorial instincts and their age into account. You can find our advice on this issue in chapter III in our comprehensive boar guide.

Perhaps you could concentrate on making your interaction and your two boys' life as much fun as possible instead of adding a third? Guinea pigs are so much more than snuggly lap piggies and you can do so much more with them. Here are some ideas:
