I have had my 2 girls together for 2 weeks now and seem to be getting on fine apart from occasional bicker to iron out differences which is understandable.

Over the last few days the tables have turned and Lilly has now decided she is going to be the boss and Evie has stepped down from her role without a fight.

Lilly is constantly strutting around her cage rumbling and wiggling her bum and has even resorted to doing it when she is lying down with the odd head twitch (she has been treated for lice). Evie has no intentions of getting into a fight with Lilly and just sits beside her.

Will Lilly settle down eventually or is she trying to tell me something?

hmmmm
I was hoping i'd be able to help you out but this has me just as confused as you...
Someone with more experience will come along soon enough no doubt :))

I'm glad that your girls didn't start fighting and that Evie's step down happened easily :)

Lilly should calm down, as they've not been together very long she's either displaying dominance over Evie & re-iterating her point that she is the boss or she may be in season. Whatever her reason she should calm down especially as Evie isn't bothered by her "display" :)

My first two did this, Nibbles was rumbling morning noon and night. Worried me for a while but it did stop, lasted quite a while.

She still does it from time to time with all of the girls but not anywhere as frequently as she was doing it when we frist got her and her sister.

I bet it calms down after a few more weeks.
