Hello,
I have a couple guinea pigs and a young puppy. While cleaning the guinea pigs plastic cage this morning, I accidently used Wilko multi-surface stain remover for dogs rather then the cage and hutch cleaner I usually use. They are stored in the some sized bottle and look identically in color and style, only difference is one has a picture of a puppy and the other a guinea pig and rabbit.
I don't have a hose, but I took it outside, put some water in it and wiped it though the inside is still wet and will have to air dry. The guinea pigs are in a play area will put them in when I clean the cage at the moment. When the plastic cage dries, I plan on using their usual cage cleaner spray, however I am worried about any smells or any chemicals from the dog stain remover that may have not been taken out with the water. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

If you are worried, then I would wash the cage again using soap and hot water and then dry it.
I would have thought it would be fine after that.

Okay, thanks. I don't notice an odor from the dog spray cleaner, so I think I got most of it out, but just want to be safe. Thank you.

Chances are high that the main ingredients are actually very similar, if not the same, and just put into different bottles to sell.

As you have both can you check the ingredients list?
