My two girls came home from holiday care and my Abysinian girl has some new bald patches and a sore crusty hole on her back. She also has a runny eye that looks cloudy. Any advice please before I go to vet? They are eating ok.

Welcome to the forum

All you can do is see a vet for diagnosis and treatment.

The eye issue is particularly urgent - clouding means the eye is already ulcerating so does need to be seen tomorrow (eyes considered urgent with treatment ideally started within 24 hours of the injury occurring).

I hope she is ok

Thanks will do, not sure if it's got injured at the holiday care but could be hay or straw I suppose. Worrying.

Hi all, so the vet prescribed ivermectin but she couldn't be sure if it was mites or some kind of bite injury as she had red sore patches on the bald patches. She told us to bathe her twice daily with diluted hibiscrub and apply manuka honey to the sore area.
She shaved her for easy access. She seems much more comfortable and her fur is growing back but not so quick in the bald patches. Looks cleaner and less inflamed.
Fingers crossed. Her eye looks much better and vet said keep monitoring it. She's eating well.
