Hi, I am right now using disposable puppy pads under my fleece blankets but I don’t really like them and I have to buy a big pack every other week. Is there any other absorbent layer apart from towels that Is cheap? I bought like mattresses urine pads but when they arrived they were water proof so the pee just sat on top. I was looking at like moving blankets but idk what ones are okay?

Amazon sell washable puppy pads that don't have the waterproof backing @Betsy uses washable pads I believe. I use non waterproof quilted mattress covers but they are stitched between a fleece sandwich to make a complete cage liner.

I was looking at some but for a 60 x40 cm one it is £15 and I have a 8 x 5 c & c cage with a loft so I would need ALOT of those 😅

I use absorbent mattress protecters in my liners. The mattress protecters were about 6x3 feet, so I stitched some together until they were as large as my cage. I only had to buy 4 of them to make 3 liners.
It works very well for my three piggies. :)

I have two if these too. About 2.5'x2.5', and I like them. My washing machine, not so much lol.
