Junior Guinea Pig
Hey all
I have found what was initially a small scab with a bald patch on my 3.5 year old boars right side. I cleansed the scab off and found lots of pus and a lump. I managed to squeeze enough of the pus out that there is no lump left. I’ve read up that abscesses don’t go away on there own and have booked a vet app. This is not until Sunday, (5 days away). Can anyone advise if this is an ok length to wait and anything I can do in the mean time. He didn’t react in pain and the pus doesn’t smell. I have since cleansed it with saline solution. I appreciate I maybe should have left it and not squeezed but the nurse in me was too curious
.
