shopping.webpSo today when I finished adding this vitamin c drops to water. I need to use paper towel to wipe the liquid on the edge, but my mom was cooking greasy pancakes in oil with lots of oil. I used hands in front of it and passed it, and I took some paper towel to clean the edge of the vitamin c drops' bottle. I pretty much touched outside of this bottle and I used paper towel touching the spout of the drops' bottle. If the oil on the spout or just outside. Will it be ok if I continue using it?

If there’s no oil on the kitchen paper there’ll be no oil on the bottle. Also, piggies generally get enough vitamin c from their varied veg diet and hay. Giving extra vitamin c isn’t necessary unless a vet says it’s needed.

Gotcha, but I used to fill vitamin C drops in water and he likes the taste. I do not think there is oil on the paper or on the outside of the drops' bottle but probably just the smell of oil.

If the diet is varied there’s no need. Grass and hay also contain a large amount of vitamin c.

It can do though very slowly I think.

As said you don’t need to give extra unless directed by the vet.

Gotcha. But if just the oil smell on the spout or on the outside of the drops' bottle? Will it be fine and does not harm if I still use it for a week? Just for my piggie to get used to it. I think my piggie likes the smell of vitaminc C drops though.

You don't need to stop them you also don't need to give them. It's up to you. You are likely just paying for your guinea pig to have expensive urine. Excess vitamin c, I believe does the same as with humans, comes out in the urine

So the vitamin C can be out of body from urine? So it will not be too much vitamin c?

If your piggy has a balanced diet with vit c enriched guinea pu#ig pellets, hay and some fresh veg he does not need additional vit c.
The cookies are great, but they are expensive, and I only use those for piggies who are ill /have come into the rescue malnourished. The vit c drops are not much use, to be honest. The vit c content degrades in sunlight and causes the water to go slimy quickly, plus you have no idea how much is actually being consumed. So while it does no harm, it really isn’t necessary. Any vitamin c your piggy consumes but does not need will simply be passed in his urine. So the drops and pellets are really just giving him expensive urine!
please try not to worry about things.
