I use a, half log looking home for my girls. It's made of wood fiber and honey (other goodies, I'm sure)
Since I became a new cavie parent last month, I've read that honey is a no-no. Should I replace these houses now or can I wait until I need new housing for them?
Thank you.

I would remove them as honey is very unhealthy for piggies. You can use cardboard boxes as houses for them to hide in. Another thing you may not know is they love paper bags. I put some hay in paper bags for them.

I agree with @piggyfan . The honey won't be good for them. I've used cardboard boxes and paper bags with great success. They don't last very long though as the cardboard gets chewed on and the paper bags get weed on! For more permanent but very cheap housing I've also used small plastic step stools which I saw on the forum. Don't know how much they cost in the UK but I paid the equivalent of a pound for them at our two dollar shops.

Adding to @Lilly post.
In the UK, Hobby Craft sell small plastic step stools, and I'm sure places like Poundland and B&M Bargains would too.
