Well this has been a couple weeks in the making and finally it is all finished! My idea was to make something that was roomy, had different areas so they can run/hop/squeak around and play as much as they like while if some didn't want to play they can be right out of the way and go and rest Also wanted to make it rat/mouse/snake/animal proof aswell as being very easy to clean! Which it is !
Enjoy the pics
If anyone would like to know how I built this please ask and I will be happy to share
The view when you first come in (it looks bigger in real life)!
The view from the front door (you can also see into the run next door which is for the bunny rabbits)!
The resting area for the guinea pigs - they seem to all like this area and can get a bit of sunshine here too
The door from inside the run which takes them inside or upstairs! I also put lots of hay in here for them everyday which is like their heaven
The vegie buffet - fresh vegies and fruit and grains for them to munch on around the clock I also pick the long grass from the paddock for them daily too as well as that they get meadow hay (as theres no timothy hay at the moment, the crop all got damaged from the supplier)
Another Hay feeder
Upstairs (bedding is Chipsi which is non toxic/non harmful chip wood). It is perfect for these little guys as it has no dust etc...
A view from inside the guinea pigs resting domain
And this is the cover I made to reflect the sun off so it doesn't get too hot
