So, Max has now been on fleece for a week, and I love it. I made some cage liners with a waterproof backing and its so easy to keep clean.

I also have a pair of outside piggies....does anyone use feece outside? Anyone have photos? They are in a big double 6ft by 2ft hutch so it would take a lot of fleece and towels, but i'm thinking in for a penny in for a pound. I have some shavings to use up ( i hate waste) but then i'm thinking if i'm washing one lot i may as well do two.

I don't have the time (or inclination at the moment) to make cage liners for the outside boys - does anyone just use towels and fleece and just fold/wrap the towels around the fleece. I'm not too worried about staining on the hutch if the wee goes through the towels as its stained anyway, just wondered if it works if you don't sew anything posh, just layer it.

I use fleece with mine outside, but due to my circumstances it's quite difficult as the fleece keeps getting wet. My hutch is bottomless so that doesn't help and I have an extra run outside because it's too small for 3 pigs. If I wasn't in my in laws house it would be a lot easier. I'm sure other people use it outside too as it is good for keeping them warm.

I'm about to convert to fleece for my piggies who live outdoors, once I finish my bale of wood shavings.
