My Tam is bullying my Gaga. I caught her having a go the other night. Told her off for being so naughty. My question is..... would getting another piggie stop this bullying or is it likely to cause more problems?

Bullying or dominance behaviour is quite natural. Only worry if it leads to blood being drawn. Normal bullying looks vicious to us, but piggies say things to each other with body language so bumping, shoving and generally being physically rough is quite normal.
Getting another piggie may result in more bullying not less. Your two piggies are trying to work out which of them is top piggie, which they will do in time. Another piggie put in then means you just have three piggies trying to work out which one is top piggie - you see what I mean!
Telling them off doesn't work. Look out for bites on face, shoulder or rump. Separate if those happen. Don't worry about squealing or nicks on ears. I do hope all the fuss settles down very soon.

They do run around like loonies when I get up in the morning though and gaga popcorns alot whilst doing it. So maybe they are just like us.. dont get on sometimes:rose

OOO OOOO I am sooo happyyy. Tam is actually letting me pet her in the cage now and isnt so squirmy when I pick her up. And they both like it when I clean them out now. When I first got them they sat huddled up in the corner of the cage after Id put them back in.

Squealing is the underpiggies signal of submission and is usually NOT in pain! it is just part of the intial dominance sort out. Your girls will settle soon happily to together and be best friends.

Just make sure the bullying doesn't extend to one piggy not being allowed to eat or drink or even rest properly. When JoJo bullied Bumble poor Bumbs was scared to eat as Jo used to chase him and not let him get much food. It took him a good couple of weeks after being separated to eat without being nervy and jumpy, now he is nice and greedy lol.
