A question about sparkling drinks

Hi there! I was just wondering if guinea pigs can have sparkling water? Now I’m not saying that I would be giving it to them it’s just a random question that popped up in my head. I looked it up and people have said no only because of additives and sugar in them. But the sparkling I have only contains vapor-distilled carbonated water and natural flavors. There isn’t any sugar sodium or calories. It’s literally just strawberry flavored fizzy water but I’m just really curious if they can try it or not?

A lot of sparkling water has bicarbonate in it - not great for hoomans and definitely not for guinea pigs.

Nope, I gave sparkling water to my old dog by mistake once, back when our county's water supply got contaminated. so I had to use bottled water and it didn't end well, he was vomiting
