Firstly, whatever your theme make sure you location and props are 'pig proof'. I used the kitchen table to barricade off a corner of the room.

Then round up the participants!

Introduce the steadiest pig to the area first.

Then add the the rampaging Lilith!

This is the first photo shoot my two new pigs had been involved in, and the fist time they'd been let loose indoors. I was very impressed at how quickly they relaxed.

So, add in little Wenlock in a bowl - she hopped out seconds after this shot was taken!

Finally add in my most nervous newbie - little Wellington. She soon settled down with some support from Auntie Lilith

AAWWWW! thats just so cute :nod: i had three in my photoshoot for the advent calendar, unfortunately they were all little sods & i struggled to take anything half decent :doh:
your pigs are all beautiful :love::drool::luv::wub:
did they bake a cake with plenty of currants in? :whistle: :vom:

... i like the kitchen design too :D

I didn't manage to get a nice Christmasy shot with all four of them in, but I have got some nice pics of them all mucking in together to remember the morning by.

Thanks, I think my pigs are rather lovely - but then that's true of all pigs. :)

I washed everything up very carefully once we'd finished. However, as I've put some of the pics up on facebook I am wondering how many of my friends are actually going to eat any of my mince pies this year. Oh well, all the more for us! ;)
 
ooh mince pies - never thought of those being guinea poop camouflage!

i didn't manage to get all three of mine together in a decent festive pigture - my date's tomorrow (11th) so you'll not have to wait long :D
i had blurry heads, bums, photobombing, destruction & prop failure in mine! gave up in the end & had to make do with not everybody featuring this year :flag:
 
AWWW! I love the last pic! Godfrey is so impatient (human, you expect me to sit still for several SECONDS? Such blatant cheek!) So we couldn't get them both together.
 
I love your set! We went for the kitchen too as if they did a runner they had nowhere to hide. We struggled with the caught in the headlights look as they were terrified to start with! Once they got their confidence Timmy just rumble strutted in circles and Jenny looked for escape so it fell apart a bit. Got a gorgeous one of Timmy by himself but wanted both of them. I might send them both in and let the chief decide which he uses.

That's my Lilith - super confident and very nosey. I was just very lucky to have the camera aimed at her at the right moment.

My babies won't sit still!
 
What a great walk through! I absolutely adore those pics. You could make that into a little picture book :)

In the interests of full disclosure, it wasn't all about cute piggies sitting sweetly......
We had our fair share of blurry shots and mayhem too!

I actually got what I thought was a far cuter shot, but it only had 2 of the piggies in, and the kids were horrified that I would even consider sharing a photo that didn't contain all of their precious darlings :roll:

Grace sat this one out this year.... i did want to try adding her to the other two, but she was seriously grumpy looking or just running around trashing the set! lol!
well i nearly had one decent shot, but old butterfingers here made the camera do screwy things & turned itself off, they sat looking so angelic with hats resting marvellously on top of their heads, no nodding & making them fall off, looking the right way etc... my only chance over two nights & i blew it! big time... darn! xx
