Hi All
I have had Reggie now since Oct and he has really settled in well :)
At the moment he is in a pretty small cage and I'd like to either buy him a bigger indoor cage or something suitable where it is alot more roomy for him.

My auntie has this gorgeous double hutch which she said I could have but there is no way I am letting him live outside just yet.

Do you think it would be stupid of me to have the hutch indoors and let him live in it indoors or would you recommend me buying a indoor cage instead?

I have no idea what to do, problem with indoors Is I am limited to space too.

Thanks
Stacey x

i would take the hutch and paint it and make it lovely and housey x

Put curtains in it and stuff!

Noooes! I don't think it's silly at all, I'd suggest painting the hutch a colour to match your wood work or the colour scheme in which room you're going to place it, I'd also suggest putting a pretty tablecloth/materiel ontop of the hutch where the felt roof is, it'll make it that little more homely, it'll be lovely to have him indoors with you. Good luck with Reggie's new home :))

I like this idea, as if you paint it a light colour it won't look too odd indoors, and you can co ordinate to your colour scheme as well:))

We had a giant hutch in our home for a while, and I never even thought of deocrating it! Such a muppet!

Thanks guys :)
Do I need to buy certain paints to do it though, dont want to get anything that will be bad with fumes etc x

Our 4 girls live in a large double hutch (P@H) plenty of space for them to run around and one of the best things is that the bottom floor is only about 4 inches off the floor so when they have floor time they can access their home whenever they like.

So guys looking at the style of the hutch do you think it will be okay for my boy? It should be alot better as its much bigger x

No it's a good idea :) my girls live in a hutch in my bedroom and my housemates have a pair of bunnies in a hutch in the living room :)

its fab if its like that one you put a link to, paint it a dead trendy colour and stuff, be brill, get a nice sign on the front saying Reggies Place he he he :))

"Reggie's Regiment" :(|)
I took him to my Aunties earlier and she mentioned the hutch again, I said I'd love to have it. Really hope it will fit where I'd like to have it x

You can put lino/lono tiles on the bottom floor if it's open like this one to protect your flooring :)

My lot live in a double hutch (well they usually do, they're under the stairs for Winter now... that sounds like I've got them locked away doesn't it?! I haven't I promise! :red :(|)) and they get along fine in it.

They zoom up and down the ramp like it's not even there!
