Hi everyone

It’s my first post :).

I currently have a pair of lovely bonded boars Biscuit and Cinder 🥰, but my most dominant Cinder, has been under the weather so has needed a couple of vet visits within the past couple of months. He was crying while passing stools and whilst passing urine, so they treated him for a water infection. We were given Baytril, Nutracys, and Metacam. After he had finished the antibiotics he seemed to perk up and get back to normal after that so that was great….. then three weeks later he’s been doing the same thing so this morning he’s had an X-ray and no calcium stones! Great news, and since I started the Nutracys on Sunday he’s been quite a bit better in himself. The vet has explained that he might be getting sperm stuck and that can be painful at times? So I’ve been given Loxicam and she said I can actually get Nutracys online, but I’m not exactly sure where, please can anybody help me?

Thankyou if you’ve read this far 😃

Welcome to the forum, I also have a pair of boars.
I've done a quick Google and it looks like you can buy it on several sites. It seems like the main ingredient is glucosamine. I am not one of the experts but I know of several members who use either feliway cystease or johnsons 4 joints as an alternative for their bladder prone piggies.
I'm sure someone with more experience will be along with advice soon.
