I've finally decided and saved enough money to get a C&C cage for my pigs and keep them indoors! I'm so excited and happy that I finally have the chance to do this but I have a few questions first.

I found this website that will send all the supplies I need to build a cage and it ships to Ireland C and C Guinea Pig Cages | Guinea Pig Cages Has anyone used this website before? Is it good? I think it may be cheaper as even though the seperate products are cheaper, shipping to Ireland is expensive and nearly doubles the price. Also, if you have used this website does it deliver in a reasonable amount of time as I hope to have it before Christmas, when I'm on my holidays.

In terms of cage liners, is there a way I can make one without sewing as I can't sew to save my life? I could ask my friend to do it for my but I do't want to be annoying. What type of fleece is easiest to clean and sweep poo off?

I think I'm going to go for a 5x2 with a 1x2 loft as it's big but also cheaper then the other ones, is this suitable for 3 pigs and maybe 4 as I'm also considering adding to my piggy family?

In the loft, I'm planning on having guinea pig litter as that is where the will eat and hay their hay and stuff. Does anyone know what brand of guinea pig/rodent litter that doesn't tend to stick to fleece and that is also affordable?

I think that's all my questions for now but I'd say I'll be adding more as I plan ahead. Please feel free to give me any extra advice as I'm new the C&C cages. Thank you

I bought my 1st C&C from this company. They are great if you want all your correx pre scored and everything ready to assemble.

I use the same C&C company and they’re very good. I’d order sharpish for Christmas delivery though.

I had a 5x2 for three girls and tbh I wouldn’t have more in that size. I now have a 7x2 and feel it would be fine for 4 and probably 5.

Can’t comment on fleece I’m afraid as I don’t use it

Thank you as I was wondering whether or not I had to score the cortex cause I’d be rubbish at that.

Thank you I plan on ordering it tomorrow.

My 1st C&C cage came from them they were very good, it's much easier to have the correx pre cut and scored. If you look at the website it should give you their next shipping date. I think they usually ship once a week on Mondays? You will need to order very soon for delivery before Christmas.
I use vet bed. In the loft I use a large cat litter tray lined with a puppy pad and filled with hay.
