A few general piggy questions??

Hi,

Just out of interest I'd like to know how many separate cages everyone has got and how many piggies etc and if in separate cages do they all seem to be fairly quiet or is it bedlam lol!

and also has anyone introduced a third or fourth sow to a bonded pair sucessfully after a while?

Reason I ask oneday I'd like to add more sows to my pair and I am interested to know if anyone keeps more than one cage I have a ferplast 120 for two atm

Hi I have 4 separate cages with 10 guineas, 4 in one, 3 in another, 2 in another then 1 on his own. I introduced lily into my four girls when they were all approximately 10 months and it wasn't a problem. They are all happily living together in hutches outside so that they can squeak to each other but I bring them in in the winter and it's funny listening to their conversations!
Not sure about the cage though

I have two seperate hutches (with runs attached), one with two girls, and one with three boys.


I had a lone guinea pig, and introduced a pair to her, and that was fine. The new ones were babies, between 3-6 months old I'd say.

I currently have 3 cages; 2x 150cm cages housing a trio (neutered boar plus 2 sows) in each and a 120cm cage currently housing a lone male.
