a crying guinea pig

please help me its the first time ive herd this 1 of my boars george is crying like a baby and squilling when ppl pick him up he came from a women that thoughtit would be fun to make money from breeding why would he cry like a baby for none of the others do...?/:...
 
Oh, this does not sound good.... I have never heard a piggy crying like a baby, so I am sorry, I cannot help you, but maybe somebody else has any advice?
Since when is George living with you?

i got himm on the 18th july so not that long
 
OK, so I would give him some more time, or try to find out in which situations he is crying? Is there anything that can upset him?
Did he used to have a close friend he is now separated from, so he misses isomeone or somepig?
 
freddie use to wheek really loud when i first got him and tried to pick him up , people said maybe he was bit nervous and insecure but he is fine now the crying bit is it like mmm mmm mmm. its hard to discribe but mine do that like a cooing noise
 
I had a boar once who could bawl; his squeaking sounded eerily like crying!
He did it when we had to separated him from his mate.

Has your guinea pig either lost a friend (has he got one in his new home?); otherwise, my own explanation would be that he must be in pain!
 
just recently paired him up with dizy another male i already had but they are fine together he wasnt with any other pigs when i got him but he was sourounded by sows its only when i pick him up
 
He may have been hurt or frightened very badly once and cries in fear of being hurt and frightened again.

With itme and lots of tlc, he should get over it. If you could lift him without handling him, he may get over it more quickly.

Pick him up with a towel or in an upturned pigloo, so he can't panic.
