A Couple Of Questions On Oxbow Critical Care For Herbivores

If I use Oxbow Critical Care for Herbivores can I:

• Feed it straight after giving the pig antibiotics?
• Do I need to still add Pro C Probiotic to Oxbow Critical Care?
• Is it recommend that I use this for all the feeds?
  • Currently I am mixing it up (Mashed Nuggets, Oats/Bran and Critial Care)

Yes I would still give probiotics but they need to be given at least an hour after each dose, so if you are putting it in the feed then the feed will need to be an hour after too. If the probiotics are given separately then you can feed straight after antibiotics.

Why do they say to wait an hour after giving antibiotics before giving probiotics?

Because the antibiotics will wipe out the probiotics if you give them close together.
