Some of you have already noticed that there is a new big behaviour guide in the green field of the Behaviour section, just below the A-Z Behaviour Guide. I have added a couple more chapters at the end of the new guide tonight, so it is worth having another look... 
Our already existing A-Z Behaviours guide is there to help identify behaviours quickly and but also to help create a shared language in expressing specific behaviours on this forum in order to facilitate our mutual understanding between members from different parts of the country and from around the world since behaviours are often described by vernacular or dialect words as they are not necessarily part of the formal language.
In contrast, the new guide is a comprehensive in-depth review of behaviours in the various contexts to which they belong and how they should be interpreted. Guinea pig communication is A LOT more complex than you would imagine.
We are still in the process of discovering more nuances and are decoding misinterpreted behaviours all the time. But it is a fascinating journey into the world of our beloved pets. I hope that you find the new guide both stimulating and enriching.
