My two ten week old girls (sisters), who live in a double story hutch are getting a new room mate - a six week old sow.

I just wondered if any of you had any advise to smooth their introduction?

You may find that you have one girl left out, as three is usually a crowd and that the baby may be in for quite a few rebuffs and the odd nip to tell her her place at the bottom of the pecking order.

However, do try and introduce them on neutral ground (lawn, bathroom floor or even bathtub with a towel thrown in). Best bond them over a nice plate of food. Try not to interfere once you've started the process, unless there are bloody fights. Make sure you do it when you have the time to keep an eye on them for a few hours.

yes i think Wiebke has it covered. just a little suggestion: maybe you could bathe all 3 so they can have some time to bond and afterwards groom each other. they'll also all smell the same which can ease the introduction.
