Hi guys,
My youngest pig is having an issue with her ear at the moment, and with current events it is difficult to get the the vets to get her checked out. She has a small spot on the inside of her ear that has bled for (as far as we know) the past couple of days on and off. We have cleaned it every day since we noticed it and applied some pig friendly cream in case it was just dry due to the hot weather but it still seems to be carrying on. Today when cleaning it we noticed a black substance coming away when it was being wiped, however when we wiped the other ear (which seems totally fine) the same happened, so we aren’t sure if this is just dirty ears or a symptom of mites.
Could anyone recommend an effective, at home mite treatment so we can clear it in case it is mites, or in the case it isn’t, any suggestions as to what it could be and how to help her.
Thanks a lot for any help
