So my current c and c cage set up is a 6x3. The piggies love it, they have loads of room to zoom about.

The only downside is on the occasions that I have to seperate them with a divider it means they only have a 3x3 each.. so would a 5x4 be better do you think? Still enough room to run around and it means when I have to put a divider in the cage they can have a 5x2 section each which is much better than a 3x3, more length to run and zoom.

The only thing is I've only just put Beans and Toast back together after a few days seperate (they still had joint floor time and could touch through the bars in the cage) so would moving the cage around make things worse? Or would it actually help the situation because it's then new for both of them...?

Or am I over complicating things and just leave it how it is..? :help:

I've read that the wider the space the better, so although the floor area is the same the 5x4 would be better as they can stay farther apart if they wish.

I'd love to have a cage 3 wide but mine is raised up. I'm pretty tall but there's no way I could reach into the corner of a 3 wide cage.

It will mean moving some furniture around, in a few days when I change their fleece next I'll do it then. Although they like the 6 grids long to run lengths, 5 is still good plus they'll have 4 wide so they can run laps better :P
