Sorry, me asking more hutch questions again :red My parents don't let me buy new hutches very often so I really want to get a good one :))
I've decided I'd like a 6ft hutch (I was told that this is what rescues require for 4 guinea-pigs, is this right?)
I've found a few websites that sell them but I just wanted to ask here to see if anyone knows of any other websites selling 6ft hutches. I'm not buying the hutch until next year so I have lots of time to save up, so the price doesn't really matter, and it can be a single or double.

I'm not sure if that is right or not, but didnt want to read and run! Have you thought about a custom made one? :)

A 6ft by 2ft hutch is the usual requirement for a quartet (4 piggies) - I myself have a boar and three girlies in a 6ft5 x 2ft5 hutch, which was approved by Claire at All About The Animals :)

I have this hutch

And am very happy with it, it is lovely and roomy and plenty of space for all four to run about, you can also buy runs to attach to it if required :) I felt it was the best value for money out of everything I found, it is very well built (required three strong adults to lift onto my other two hutches) and the store itself have really helpful, friendly staff if you have any problems.

This is my 8ft by 2ft hutch, it was custom built by a very nice guy in Worksop. It cost me £190 plus delivery fee (which was a lot but reasonable considering the distance). It was literally built and delivered within less than a week, he helped me put it where it was supposed to go and I was really impressed. It's absolutely solid, there is no way I am ever going to attempt to lift it again! It's not plywood it's basically one big slab of timber ha ha. If you are interested and would like the guys details I will find them again and PM them to you. He will build you whatever you like, just need to give the measurements.

Other than that I know Rehutches are supposed to be very good but they are very expensive.

i have 2 of these for my pigs, i put mine on legs as i have joint problems but they are 7ft long, 20" wide, the bottom is 1" thick wood and the hutch is top opening so very easy for cleaning out etc. all that, for £65! he will also make any changes you want aswell, we had one like the picture, and then the other one we had him build minus the center partition and with 2 wire fronts instead of the wooden door and wire front (the 2nd one is used as a run area as the hutches are off the floor)
