5y male guinea pig has growth or wart near bum - should we worry?

We recently found a growth on one of our guinea pigs. It doesn't seem to be bothering him and he is active and seems in good health otherwise. We had a vet visit booked for today but they have cancelled and we would like to know if we need to do something urgently for him. Has anyone seem something like this before? We think it is a wart but could it also be a skin tumour?

I'd just get him booked in for another appointment to get it checked. I don't think there's anything you need to do in the meantime - if anything it's best to leave it so the vet can get a proper look

Please have that vet checked but leave be until then. It looks like a potential growth on his grease gland to me?

I was thinking growth on grease gland too. The first time one of my guineas had that I immediately thought tumour but the vet immediately said not. All the best for your guinea.
