Worried about moving Baby Zeus and with dad. I have already moved Baby Zeus‘s brother and with dad because he is more typically developing and 260 g. So far those two are doing pretty well in the bonding space I have set up. I will make sure to have a Hidey with two small Zeus size holes for him to make an escape, but I was hoping to hear from folks here first if there are any safety concerns with introducing Zeus to Dad. Zeus is still getting supplemental critical care hand feedings. He is otherwise bright and alert. He has some sort of issue with feeding where he does not seem to get enough volume into him even though he is constantly grazing. He is gaining a few grams of weight a day but really is most successful eating when we sit with him and talk to him. He does great around his mom and sister, but I know even with the additional few days he gets to be with Mom due to his weight that he needs to get ready to move. He is three weeks and four days today and I believe that he has until four weeks given his size. Open to any suggestions and I’ll include a picture of him and the bonding space we have set up. Dad and Brother have been together for two days now. dad is six months old. We got Dad and Mom at a local pet store and were told they were both girls. We have had the babies sex at week three and moved Zeus’s brother the next day and with dad he has a sister who is staying with mom.

Baby Zeus, you are a beautiful little guy. At 250 gm he will have to move in with his brother and Daddy.
I am so sorry that your loss have been the victim of mix-sexing. it has happened to me once many years ago.

Something very disturbing just happened. I laid out a fresh clean sheet with a big pile of delicious veggies in the middle, and a 2 way hidey and I put the sibling and Mr. muffins the dad out and the sibling completely ignored Zeus, but muffins had an awful reaction to him. He smelled his bum very very deeply, many many times and then just started rolling him over and over by using his snout to keep just tossing him in the air and moving him and his hair was high up on end. Zeus just kept trying to eat veggies and kept his little head down but I had to take him out. I have a suspicion that Mr. muffins is going to have to wait until next week after March 11 when he gets neutered and rejoin, Miss pumpkin and his little girl, and the boys will likely need to stay together

Yes you are right - that’s not a good sign for bonding - a trio of boars never really works and mr muffins has shown a dislike to Zeus - as he’s a little thing I’d try to bond him with his brother - mr muffins will be ok if he can see/smell the brother and Zeus
Good luck and let us know how you get on 🥰
